How RawChoice Began
RawChoice was founded on a dream I had when I first arrived in Canada in 2002. I realized that many pets were consuming highly processed foods, and it became clear that more awareness was needed around raw, species-appropriate nutrition. Coming from Jordan, a raw diet was always my preferred choice for my dogs and clients' pets.
After earning my Ph.D. in Veterinary Microbiology at the University of Saskatchewan, I entered the research world, focusing on vaccine development against bacterial diseases in poultry.
A Dream Turned Reality
In 2016, I decided to fully pursue my passion. With the support of my wife Yasmine, RawChoice became a reality. Together, we dedicate ourselves to developing nutritious, species-appropriate meals for Canadian pets.
